The company entered the Banking Automation sector by introducing the Banking Automation Product, “BANCAL®” in 1988. This product was the first and only one of its kind, and it ushered in an era of automation in the Indian Banking sector. This product was truly ahead of its times as no significant automation initiatives were there for the Banking Industry till then. This “Banking Calculator”, as it was referred to, was a Back-office Automation Solution for Banks, which enabled them to significantly improve their efficiency levels by automating functions like interest calculations, ledger postings, report generation etc. The product was a huge success and it was commissioned by almost all the Banking Establishments in the country till the advent of the new generation personal computers.
Keeping pace with the changing times and growing needs of the Banking Industry, HKIL came up with its Total Branch Automation (TBA) Software Banksoft® in the year 1997, The vast experience gained from the close association with the major banks in the country for the past decade made Banksoft® a widely accepted product for Banks. Today it can boast of a successful track record in various Nationalized Banks, Gramin Banks (Regional Rural Banks), Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies all over India.
Having made our mark in the all important and complex world of Banking and Finance, HKIL further diversified into the automation of other industry verticals. This included fast pace growth in sectors like the education, Retail, Manufacturing etc. HKIL’s ERP solutions in the brand name Katalizz, is fast becoming a well-accepted Business Automation Solution. Katalizzpro- which is specifically designed for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) segment and the Campus Automation Solution Katalizzedu has highly satisfied Customer base across the country.
