HKIL is proud and privileged to be associated with the e-Governance initiatives undertaken by the Government of India and has successfully undertaken projects under the National e-Governance Plan.
A major project successfully undertaken by HKIL is the “Sikkim Ekikrit Bittiya Sanchalan Pranali” or “Sikkim Integrated Financial Management System”. Under the Project titled “Computerization of Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department Project”, funded by the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), Centre for Research and Training in Informatics (CRTI) - an autonomous body under the Department of Information Technology, Government of Sikkim, selected HKIL as the partner to develop a web-based, integrated software system for the various divisions/sections under the Department of Finance, Revenue and Expenditure like Budget, Treasury, Pay and Accounts Offices (PAO), Compilation, Pension, GIS (Group Insurance Scheme) etc.
The deployment of this application software for the Treasury, Pay & Accounts (Work & Civil) and Budget enabled departments to capture several important information/data which are required by the Government frequently or on daily basis for decision making (like Project monitoring, Financial monitoring, number of employees, Salary expenditure etc.) Linkage with State Bank of Sikkim - which handles the financial transactions of the Government of Sikkim - is one of the salient features of this package which allows retrieval of the required data from the State Bank of Sikkim related to Finance, Revenue & Expenditure Department. This software also provides other features like automatic up-dation of GPS/GIS & Pension contribution etc.
